Providing pandemic aid to animal shelters

Since the start of the pandemic, SPCA International has donated $645,000 and countless resources to dozens of shelters in six continents through its Shelter Support Fund.

Communities around the globe are suffering from the dire economic and health impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic – and companion animals are also experiencing the fallout. While shelters continue to save and care for a growing number of animals in need, they’re experiencing challenges with acquiring pet food, staffing their facilities, fundraising, and maintaining operations.

Since January 1, 2020, thanks to generous supporters, SPCA International has donated $645,000 and countless resources to dozens of shelters in six continents through its Shelter Support Fund. The Fund supports and partners with community-led animal welfare groups in the US and internationally to increase their impact.
