What are AW Academy badges?
Badges are achievement markers that recognize course-completion milestones. There are four levels: Bronze, Silver, Gold and Diamond.
How do I earn a badge?
Complete courses. For each one, watch the video lesson and pass the short quiz to receive your certificate. You unlock Bronze at 5 completed courses, Silver at 15, Gold at 30 and Diamond at 50 or more.
How long does it take to earn a badge?
That is up to you. Courses are short-form micro-courses of around 5–15 minutes each, although individual durations vary, and you learn at your own pace.
Which membership do I need to earn badges?
Premium is the plan to choose if you want to work toward badges: it unlocks 400+ video courses. Pro includes the same 400+ video courses plus 45+ veterinary courses, and Enterprise offers the same access for teams. The Free and Basic memberships include one and five free micro-video courses.
Can I start for free?
Yes. The Free membership includes one free micro-video course, so you can try a course and earn your first certificate before you upgrade.
Where can I display my badge?
You can display your certificates and badges on LinkedIn, your website or Facebook, so clients and employers can see what you have achieved.
Do I still get a certificate for each course?
Yes. You receive a certificate for every course you complete. Badges are awarded on top of your certificates as you reach each milestone.
Is a badge the same as a professional license or veterinary credential?
No. Badges and certificates show that you have completed educational courses. They do not replace a professional license, veterinary degree or other regulated professional credential.
