fall activities to enjoy with your dog

Fall is upon us!

Celebrate the season with your dog by partaking in one or more of these fun fall activities!

1. Explore the woods

Enjoy the fall colors by embarking on a nature walk or hike! Pack a picnic and make a day of it so your dog has plenty of time to breathe in all the new smells the season has to offer.

2. Get lost in a corn maze

Find a pet-friendly maze near you, pack plenty of fresh water, and spend the afternoon wandering! Who knows, your dog’s nose might be the key to finding the exit.

3. Play in the leaves

What better way to clean up your yard and have some fun at the same time? Make a game of it and challenge your pup’s mental faculties by playing tag around the colorful pile!

4. Go camping

There’s something magical about camping in the fall. Pack your warm clothes and blankets and head to a campsite to connect with nature and spend some quality time with your pooch.

5. Make healthy pumpkin muffins

This recipe is delicious and pet-friendly!

6. Go canoeing

Autumn is a beautiful time to be out on the water. Ensure your dog is trained to sit in the boat, and then head out for a relaxing paddle. Don’t forget his doggie life jacket!

7. Toss around the football

Football season is in full swing… and what dog doesn’t love fetch? This activity will give your pooch his daily dose of exercise, and give you a chance to practice your throw! If you don’t love football, why not take your dog to a baseball game instead?

8. Plan your Halloween costumes

Does your dog love dressing up? If so, Halloween is the perfect excuse to buy him a flashy new outfit. You can even find a matching one for yourself!
