Canine Health Funded By AKC

More than $1.7 million in 17 research grants to 13 research institutions and universities has been approved by the AKC Canine Health Foundation.

The health concerns being addressed in dogs include:

• Specific causes of periodontal disease
• Treatment of urinary incontinence
• Six separate oncology grants
• Prevention of tick-borne diseases
