Saying goodbye to “super” star Margot Kidder

This week, we bid farewell to another one of Hollywood’s most famous dog-lovers. Actress Margot Kidder passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 69 on Sunday, May 13, 2018.

Famous for numerous roles, including revered reporter Lois Lane in the original Superman film franchise, Kidder was a beloved Canadian “super” star who was adored my millions. She was also a well-known advocate for mental health awareness and a passionate political activist. According to friend and colleague Jason Priestly, Kidder “cared so much about people and about her dogs,” and was full of love, light and empathy.
