Dr do Valle has always been an avid equestrian since a child and graduated as the top 5% of her class as a veterinarian from the prestigious Universidade federal Fluminense in Brazil in 1989. She moved to the USA in 1990 where she pursed many externships and internships in equine medicine while she accredited her degree with the AVMA through the CPE at Oklahoma State University, Then she studied equine physiology and surgery for her MS degree at Cornell University in 2001.
