Course Description

This lecture will review the conventional approaches for patients diagnosed with chronic kidney disease (CKD); the IRIS system will be used as a guide for the introduction of additional therapeutics with the inevitable progression of this disease that affects more cats than dogs.

Integrative approaches for CKD patients will be discussed and the scientific evidence for their use will be presented. An integrative protocol that blends these two approaches for the management of CKD will conclude this vitally-important-for-you-to-attend class.
